About USSC

The official operator of Nike Sports Camps, US Sports Camps (USSC) was founded in 1975 with the same mission that defines it today. Now celebrating over 40 years of camp, USSC is headquartered in San Rafael, California (just north of San Francisco) and is America's largest sports camp network.

USSC partners with the country's best coaches to direct our camps and provides them with valuable administrative and marketing support. During the summer of 2014 more than 70,000 US and international campers attended a US Sports Camps program.

What we did

  • Location based camp search tool (Google maps integration)

Location Based Search

We integrated Google Maps with camp searching to enable site users to find camps based on their chosen location and sport.

Get Into Camp

They say it's all about the call to action. But what if the "actions" users should to take are quite diverse depending on who they are? For instance, someone shopping for a camp is very different from an already registered camper looking for last minute details. Besides the mountain of possible content, accommodating users of varying types was the challenge we faced with USSC's camp page.
